Hallwise was built out of a straightforward frustration: existing hall pass tools were either paper slips that went missing or enterprise software that required an IT ticket, a training session, and a per-student invoice just to get started.
The goal was something a teacher could set up in five minutes on a Monday morning, that students could use without creating an account, and that gave administrators real visibility without adding noise to anyone's day. That's still the only thing this product does — and it does it well.
Hallwise is a focused, purpose-built tool. It tracks student hall passes in real time, surfaces the information teachers and administrators actually need, and gets out of the way. There are no unnecessary features, no upsells to a larger platform, and no per-student pricing that penalizes schools for growing.
The product is designed specifically for Google Classroom schools. Sign in with your school Google account and your class rosters are already there — no CSV files, no manual setup, no calls with a sales rep. A single teacher can be up and running in under five minutes. A whole school can be live the same day.
Hallwise is independently built and operated. The pricing is flat because complicated pricing is annoying for everyone. The trial is 60 days because two months is enough time to know whether something actually works.
